
The Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS), which provides comprehensive medical care to Central Government employees and pensioners, is inviting applications from retired Central Government staff for contractual appointments.
- Total Posts: 04 (Pharmacist: 02 Ayurvedic, 02 Homoeopathic)
- Basis: Purely temporary and contractual basis.
- Place of Posting: CGHS Wellness Centres (WC) in Shillong, Agartala, and Imphal.
- Duration of Contract: 01 year or till the joining of a regular candidate.
- Disqualification: Candidates against whom disciplinary proceedings or departmental action have been initiated or are contemplated.

General Requirements
- Eligibility: Must be a retired staff member from the Central Government.
- Age Limit: Not exceeding 64 years as on the date of advertisement publication.
- Remuneration (Consolidated): Last pay drawn minus pension fixed (as per DOE OM dt 09.12.2020).
- Preference: Candidates with prior CGHS work experience and knowledge of computers shall be preferred.
