2. Eligibility & Requirements
Essential Qualifications:
- Life Sciences: M.Sc. in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or any branch of Life Sciences.
- Professional Degrees: M.Pharm, MS Pharm, M.Tech, ME, MBBS, or BDS.
Desirable Experience:
- Proficiency in Molecular Biology and Cell Culture techniques.
- Hands-on expertise with transgenic animal models.
- Candidates who have cleared CSIR-UGC NET-LS are encouraged to apply.
Age Limit:
- Must be less than 28 years old as of the application date.
3. Research Context: Gastric Cancer Reprogramming
The project aims to map how gastric cancer cells “reprogram” their genetic and molecular signatures before and after neoadjuvant chemotherapy (treatment given before the primary surgery). Understanding these changes is crucial for identifying new therapeutic targets and overcoming drug resistance.
