2. Eligibility & Requirements
Educational Background:
- Postgraduates: B.Sc / M.Sc / M.Pharm / PharmD / M.Tech.
- Preferred Streams: Pharmacy Practice, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or Laboratory Technology.
- Undergraduates: B.Sc graduates are eligible if they have three years of experience in laboratory maintenance and research assistance.
Required Skills:
- Biological Processing: Ability to isolate serum and plasma from whole blood samples.
- Lab Management: Experience in ordering supplies, inventory tracking, and preparing technical reports.
- Technical Interest: Prior experience or interest in Metabolomics research is a plus.
- Soft Skills: Proficiency in computers and strong communication skills.
3. Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be the backbone of the lab operations, ensuring that the scientific staff has the necessary resources and processed samples to conduct high-level research.
- Sample Handling: Processing blood samples collected from TB patients.
- Operational Support: General maintenance of the laboratory environment and equipment.
- Documentation: Assisting with the preparation of research reports and inventory data.
