Pharm'Up 
The Indian Air Force (IAF) has released an official notification inviting online applications from eligible Male Indian and Gorkha (Nepal) citizens to join as Airmen in the Group ‘Y’ Medical Assistant trade. This recruitment includes specialized entries for candidates holding a Diploma or B.Sc in Pharmacy.
The selection test is scheduled to be held on March 30 and 31, 2026. This entry offers a prestigious career path with a starting gross salary of approximately ₹26,900/- per month plus allowances after training.
Eligibility Criteria
1. Educational Qualification
Candidates must meet one of the following criteria:
- For 10+2 Entry: Passed 10+2/Intermediate with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB), and English with at least 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in English.
- For Pharmacist Entry: Passed 10+2 (PCB) with 50% marks AND hold a Diploma or B.Sc in Pharmacy with a minimum of 50% marks. Candidates must possess a valid registration from the State Pharmacy Council or Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) at the time of enrolment.

Note: The upper age limit on the date of enrolment is 21 years for 10+2 candidates and 24 years for Pharmacy graduates/diploma holders.
Mandatory Medical & Physical Standards
Candidates must be physically and mentally fit to serve in any terrain or climate.
- Height: Minimum 152 cm.
- Chest: Minimum 77 cm with an expansion of at least 5 cm.
- Vision: 6/36 each eye (correctable to 6/6); Refractive error not exceeding ± 3.50D.
- Hearing: Normal (able to hear a forced whisper from 6 meters).
- Tattoos: Permanent tattoos are only permitted on the inner face of forearms and the back of the hand.
Salary, Perks, and Career Progression
- Stipend during Training: ₹14,600 per month.
- Post-Training Pay: Starting at ₹26,900 per month (including MSP) plus Dearness Allowance (DA).
- Allowances: Transport, HRA, Children Education Allowance, and Leave Ration Allowance.
- Perks: Canteen (CSD) facilities, 60 days Annual Leave, 30 days Casual Leave, and Group Insurance cover of ₹62.5 Lakhs.

How to Apply
- Portal: Log on to airmenselection.cdac.in.
- Documents: Upload Class 10/12 marks sheets, Pharmacy degree/diploma (if applicable), and a specific passport-size photo (taken after June 2025) where the candidate is holding a black slate with their name and date of photo written in chalk.
- Exam Fee: ₹550 + GST (Payable online).
- Aadhaar: Aadhaar card is mandatory for registration (except for candidates from J&K, Ladakh, Assam, and Meghalaya).
