- Project Title: Unravelling the Mechanism of Climatic Heat Stress-Induced Muscle Wasting: Comparative Evaluation of Rehydration and Heat Adaptive Strategies.

- Tenure: Initial appointment for 1 year, extendable up to 3 years based on performance.
Position & Compensation

- Monthly Stipend: ₹56,000 + 10% HRA (as per ICMR and Institute rules).
- PhD Opportunity: The selected candidate may be eligible to register for the BITS Pilani PhD program, provided they meet the institutional qualification norms.
Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: M.Pharm (Pharmacology) / M.S. Pharm (Pharmacology and Toxicology) / M.S. Pharm (Biotechnology).
- Mandatory Requirements: Candidates must have qualified GPAT, GATE, or NET.
- Upper Age Limit: 35 years.
Job Responsibilities
The role involves sophisticated laboratory work and data management, including:
- Standardizing and establishing animal models for heat stress.
- Conducting behavioral and molecular evaluations.
- Utilizing advanced molecular biology techniques such as:
- ChIP (Chromatin Immunoprecipitation)
- Immunoblotting (Western Blot)
- RT-qPCR (Real-Time Quantitative PCR)
- IHC (Immunohistochemistry)
- Data analysis, documentation, and manuscript preparation for scientific publications.
