Eligibility Criteria
To apply, candidates must meet the following mandatory requirements:
- Residency: Must be a permanent resident of West Bengal.
- Language: Proficiency in the local language is required.
- Age Limit: Maximum 40 years as of March 31, 2025. (Age relaxation applies for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per state rules).
- Education: * Minimum 2-year Diploma in Pharmacy (D-Pharma) (Allopathic) from a PCI/AICTE recognized institute.
- Candidates with B-Pharma or M-Pharma are highly encouraged to apply, as they will receive higher weightage in the merit scoring.
Selection Methodology (Merit-Based)
Selection is based on a 100-point scoring system focusing on academic excellence. There is no mention of a written competitive exam; the rank is determined by your previous marks:
- Class 10: Max 20 marks (Proportionate)
- Class 12: Max 20 marks (Proportionate)
- D-Pharma: Max 30 marks (Proportionate)
- B-Pharma: Max 20 marks (Proportionate)
- M-Pharma: Max 10 marks (Proportionate)
