RIMS Imphal Hiring: Jr. Pharmacovigilance Associate Opportunity for Pharma & Medical Graduates

The Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Imphal, has issued a fresh notification for the recruitment of a Jr. Pharmacovigilance Associate. This position will be based at the Adverse Drug Reaction Monitoring Centre (AMC) within the Department of Pharmacology.

Following the cancellation of a previous advertisement from July 2025, the institute is now inviting new applications from eligible professionals to join its drug safety monitoring team in the “Jeweled Land” of Manipur.

Job Profile & Compensation

Position: Jr. Pharmacovigilance Associate
Department: Adverse Drug Reaction Monitoring Centre (AMC), Dept. of Pharmacology
Salary: ₹32,000 per month (Consolidated)
Duration: 06 months (Extendable based on requirement and performance)
Age Limit: 28 years (Note: Candidates who applied under the previous 2025 notice will be granted age relaxation if they meet the criteria).

Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualifications (Essential)

Applicants must possess one of the following from a recognized university:

M.Pharm (Master in Pharmacy)
Master’s in Clinical Pharmacology, Pharmacy Practice, or Clinical Research
Pharm.D
MBBS / BDS

2. Desirable Experience

One year of practical experience in Drug Safety or Pharmacovigilance.

3. Key Responsibilities

Active collection of Adverse Drug Reaction (ADR) reports.
Processing and management of Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs) using the VigiFlow database.
Performing Quality, Clinical, and Statistical reviews of ICSRs.
