
The Bhim Rao Ambedkar Centre for Community Empowerment (BRACE), under the Institute of Advanced Study in Science and Technology (IASST), has announced a specialized 2-month internship program starting July 2026. This initiative is dedicated to empowering students from Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) communities by providing high-level research exposure in the North-East region.
Internship Highlights
- Disciplines: Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Computational Sciences.
- Eligibility: Currently enrolled Undergraduate (UG) or Postgraduate (PG) students from SC/ST categories.
- Cost: Completely Free (No application or training fees).
- Selection: Based strictly on Academic Merit (marks from the last qualifying examination).
Application Details
Interested candidates must apply online via the official website (www.iasst.gov.in) within 20 days of the advertisement date.
Important Requirement: A No Objection Certificate (NOC) from your parent institution is mandatory. If the NOC is delayed, you may upload a self-declaration certificate during the initial application, but the official NOC must be submitted before joining in July.
