
The Patanjali Research Foundation (PRF) in Haridwar is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Senior Principal Scientist to lead its In-vitro Biology research team. This role is central to the foundation’s mission of merging modern experimental science with Ayurvedic herbal medicine for drug discovery and development.

- Experience: 8–10+ years in in-vitro biology, cellular biology, or drug discovery.
- Focus Area: Leading laboratory-based cellular and molecular research, developing experimental strategies, and managing in-vitro biology programs.
Eligibility & Requirements
- Education: Ph.D. in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or related Life Science disciplines from a reputed institute.
- Technical Expertise:
- Mammalian cell culture systems (primary cells and established lines).
- Molecular biology techniques (ELISA, flow cytometry, imaging-based analysis).
- Advanced microscopy (Confocal and Fluorescence).
- Cell-based assays for toxicity, apoptosis, and pharmacological studies.
- Leadership: Proven experience in managing research teams and multidisciplinary projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Research: Plan and execute experimental programs for drug efficacy and cellular responses.
- Assay Development: Optimize cell-based assays for toxicity screening and cellular uptake.
- Documentation: Ensure accurate research reporting, data analysis, and contributions to patents and publications.
- Mentorship: Train junior scientists and research associates.
- Compliance: Adhere to laboratory safety standards and regulatory frameworks (IAEC, IBSC, IEC).
