In a major gathering of academic and industry leaders, the SIMATS College of Pharmacy (Saveetha University) hosted a high-level National Seminar titled “Future Pharma Ecosystem – Fostering Synergy among Academia, Industry, Research, Regulatory and Practice” on March 5, 2026.
The event was organized to celebrate National Pharmacy Education Day, marking the birth anniversary of Prof. Mahadeva Lal Schroff, the visionary credited as the “Father of Pharmacy Education in India.” Held at the Kurinji Hall within the Saveetha Medical College campus, the seminar served as a strategic platform to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world pharmaceutical application.

The seminar was convened by Dr. Ramaiyan Velmurugan (Principal, SIMATS College of Pharmacy) and coordinated by Dr. Rathinavelu Mohanraj. The inaugural session featured a prestigious lineup of guests, including:
