The Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR), an autonomous institution under the Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India, is seeking high-caliber researchers for its Theoretical Sciences Unit (TSU).

This position offers an opportunity to work under the guidance of Prof. Swapan K. Pati on cutting-edge computational research.

Job Details

Position: Research Associate (Temporary)
Location: Jakkur, Bengaluru
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years
Remuneration: * Scale: Rs. 58,000 / Rs. 61,000 / Rs. 67,000 per month (based on experience).
- Allowance: Plus 30% HRA.

Eligibility Criteria

The unit is looking for candidates with strong academic backgrounds in Pharmacy, Engineering, or Pure Sciences.

Essential Qualification: * Ph.D. / MD / MS / MDS or equivalent degree.
- OR 3 years of research, teaching, design, and development experience after M.Pharm / M.E / M.Tech / MVSc.
- Publication: At least one research paper in a Science Citation Index (SCI) Journal is mandatory.
Desirable Skills: Proficiency in Classical Molecular Dynamics, Free Energy methods, and Machine Learning approaches for developing interaction potentials.
