DRDO-INMAS Paid Internship 2026-2027: Pharma, Life Sciences & Engineering

The Institute of Nuclear Medicine and Allied Sciences (INMAS), a premier laboratory under the DRDO, is offering paid internship opportunities for the upcoming academic year. Based in Delhi, INMAS focuses on radiation countermeasures and cognitive military performance, operating under the mission of “Atom for Peace.”

Internship Categories & Disciplines

This opportunity is exclusively for final-year students (merit-based) for a fixed tenure of 06 months.

1. Under-Graduate (UG) Internship

Target: Final year B.E. / B.Tech students (7th or 8th Semester).
Stipend: Rs. 5,000 per month.

Eligibility & Selection Criteria

Academic Record: Minimum 75% marks or 7.5 CGPA is mandatory.
Age Limit: Below 28 years.
Nationality: Only Indian Nationals studying within India are eligible.
Mode: Strictly Offline at INMAS, Delhi.
Selection: Based on academic merit. A telephonic or video interaction may be conducted for final shortlisting.

Important Terms

Payment: Stipend is paid in two installments (after 3 months and at completion).
Expenses: No lodging, boarding, or travel allowance (TA/DA) is provided by DRDO.
Security: Selected interns must sign an undertaking regarding the Indian Official Secrets Act, 1923.
Certificate: Issued only upon successful completion of the full 6-month tenure and submission of the project report.
