The Institute of Microbial Technology (IMTech), a premier laboratory under the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), is inviting applications for a Research Associate-I (RA-I) position. This opportunity is part of the high-impact project, “Phenome India-CSIR health cohort knowledge base.”

Position Details

Post Name: Research Associate-I (RA-I)
Number of Vacancies: 01
Project Title: Phenome India-CSIR health cohort knowledge base (HCP-047)
Monthly Emoluments: Rs. 58,000/- + HRA

Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualification: * Ph.D./MD/MS/MDS or equivalent degree.
- OR 3 years of research, teaching, design, and development experience after M.Pharma/MVSc/ME/M.Tech.
- Publication: At least one research paper in a Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal is mandatory.
Desirable Qualification: * Ph.D. in Microbiology or allied subjects.
- Experience in handling, identifying, and preserving microbes.
- Skills in metagenomics, data analysis, and molecular biology techniques (DNA isolation, PCR, etc.).

Age Limit & Relaxations

Upper Age Limit: As per CSIR/Govt. norms.
Relaxations: * 5 years for SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates.
- 3 years for OBC candidates.
