The Regional Centre for Biotechnology (RCB), an Institution of National Importance under the auspices of UNESCO, is inviting applications for the position of Project Research Scientist-I. This project focuses on developing an indigenous rapid diagnostic kit for monitoring vaginal health.
Position Overview

- Project Title: Sialidase-Based Detection of Vaginal Dysbiosis and Monitoring of Vaginal Health: Development of an indigenous Rapid Diagnostic Kit.
- Principal Investigator: Dr. Nidhi Adlakha, Associate Professor.
- Duration: Initially for one year (extendable based on performance).
Eligibility & Emoluments
- Essential Qualification: M.Sc. (or equivalent) in Biotechnology with a minimum of 60% marks.
- Desirable Skills: * Experience in handling fungal cultures (highly preferred).
- Proficiency in microbiology and molecular biology tools.
- Experience in protein expression.
- Emoluments: Rs. 56,000 + 20% HRA per month.
