
INDORE (April 15, 2026) — The Indian Institute of Technology Indore (IIT Indore), in collaboration with Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV), has announced a prestigious opening for a National Postdoctoral Fellow (NPDF). This position is part of the “SAKSHAM” project—Scientific Advancements in Knowledge for Sustainability, Healthcare, and Materials—funded by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF).
This fellowship is specifically nested under the IITI–ANRF PAIR Theme: Healthcare and Medical Technology, focusing on critical innovations in antimicrobial resistance and diagnostic tools.

Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for this competitive role, applicants must meet the following stringent requirements:
- Academic Background: PhD / MD / MS in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biomedical Sciences, Molecular Biology, Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or Medical Technology.
- Publication Record: At least two research publications, with at least one as First or Corresponding Author in a peer-reviewed journal within the last two years.
- Citizenship: Must be an Indian citizen.
- Preferred Assets: Candidates holding granted patents or possessing a strong background in antimicrobial resistance (AMR) research and biomedical device development.
