Bir Bikram College of Pharmacy, Tripura, has officially published an employment notification seeking applications from qualified academic professionals and technical staff. The institution is hiring across multiple academic levels, including Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor, covering disciplines such as Pharmacology, Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacognosy, Pharmaceutical Analysis, and Pharmaceutical Biotechnology. Vacancy Breakdown & Eligibility Criteria

Professor
- Departments: Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Analysis
- Educational Qualifications: Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from a recognized university along with a First Class Master’s Degree in Pharmacy (M.Pharm) in the relevant specialization.
- Experience: A minimum of 10 years of total experience, including at least 5 years of full-time teaching and/or research experience at the level of Associate Professor or equivalent. Demonstrated experience guiding postgraduate (M.Pharm) or Ph.D. scholars is required.
Associate Professor
- Departments: Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmaceutics
- Educational Qualifications: Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from a recognized institution with a First Class Master’s Degree in Pharmacy (M.Pharm) in the respective specialization.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience, including at least 3 years of full-time teaching and/or research experience at the Assistant Professor level or equivalent.
Assistant Professor
- Departments: Pharmacology, Pharmacognosy, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Biotechnology
- Educational Qualifications: First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) combined with an M.Pharm in the relevant discipline.
- Experience: Open to both experienced educators and fresh postgraduates. Candidates who graduated during the 2025–26 academic session are also eligible to apply.
Laboratory Technician
- Educational Qualifications: Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm).
- Experience: Freshers and experienced candidates may apply.
Library Assistant
- Educational Qualifications: Bachelor of Library Science (B.Lib).
- Experience: Freshers and experienced candidates may apply.
