Eligibility Criteria
- Essential Educational Qualification: Master’s degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmacology, or any branch of Chemical or Life Sciences from a recognized university.
- Essential Post-Qualification Experience: Minimum 4 years of relevant post-qualification experience with mandatory background in:
- LC-MS/MS-based bioanalysis (ideally within BA/BE units, CROs, or translational analytical laboratories).
- Bioanalytical method development, validation, and pharmacokinetic (PK) sample processing under regulatory compliance.
- Desirable Experience:
- Setting up or commissioning bioanalytical lab infrastructure and QA/QC documentation workflows.
- In-depth understanding of USFDA, EMA, and ICH M10 bioanalytical validation frameworks, with functional familiarity with 21 CFR Part 58 (GLP) and GCP standards.
Core Responsibilities
- Analytical Operations & Maintenance: Routine setup, operation, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of high-resolution LC-MS/MS and HPLC instruments; oversee equipment calibration, qualification, and analytical run logs.
- Method Development & Sample Testing: Design and validate selective extraction and quantification methods for small-molecule drugs and metabolites across biological matrices (plasma, serum, tissue); process PK samples from preclinical and clinical trial protocols.
- Regulatory Compliance & Quality Systems: Prepare study protocols, bioanalytical reports, and SOPs; coordinate internal quality audits, inspection-readiness tasks, and adherence to Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Supervision & Inventory Management: Guide junior analysts and technicians while managing certified reference standards, chemical reagents, and lab consumables.
