ANRF PAIR Fellowship 2026: IIT Indore & Bundelkhand University Announce Junior Research Fellow (JRF) Vacancies

Applications are invited from qualified and motivated candidates for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under the research initiative titled “SAKSHAM – Scientific Advancements in Knowledge for Sustainability, Healthcare, and Materials.”

This project is sponsored by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF) under the prestigious ANRF PAIR program. The research initiative operates via a hub-and-spoke collaboration between Indian Institute of Technology Indore (Hub Institution) and Bundelkhand University, Jhansi (Spoke Institution).

Project & Vacancy Overview

The SAKSHAM initiative encompasses three core thematic areas:

Theme 1: Advanced Materials (AM)
Theme 2: Environmental Sustainability and Energy (ESE)
Theme 3: Health and Medical Technologies (HMT)

Selected candidates will be assigned based on their profile and domain expertise across these focus themes. Work locations may alternate between IIT Indore and Bundelkhand University according to project requirements.

Eligibility Criteria

Academic Qualifications:
- Post Graduation (M.Sc / M.Tech / M.Pharm / M.S. or equivalent) in Basic/Applied Sciences, Engineering, Pharmacy, or Technology from a UGC-recognized University, Institute, or Autonomous Body.
- Minimum aggregate marks required:
  - General / OBC: 60% aggregate marks
  - SC / ST: 55% aggregate marks
Mandatory National Eligibility:
- Valid qualified score in CSIR/UGC-NET (including Lectureship / Assistant Professorship), GATE, or GPAT.
Age Limit: As per standard ANRF / DST Government of India norms.

Desirable Skills & Experience

Postgraduate degree in relevant branches of Science, Pharmacy, Engineering, or Technology.
Hands-on proficiency in handling analytical laboratory instrumentation and scientific equipment.
Familiarity with the preparation of technical project reports, compendia, and academic presentations.
Prior research experience in basic experimental techniques related to Advanced Materials, Energy Systems, or Health and Medical Technologies.
