ECHS Vadodara & Surat Recruitment 2026: Applications Invited for Pharmacist Post

The Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS) Central Organization, operating under the Ministry of Defence (MoD), has issued an employment notification inviting applications for the contractual engagement of a Pharmacist. This recruitment drive is aimed at filling a vacancy within the ECHS Polyclinics located in Vadodara and Surat.

Eligibility Criteria

• Educational & Professional Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) from a recognized instituteOR
  • 10+2 with Science stream (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) from a recognized board, along with an approved Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) from a Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) recognized institute.
• Registration: Must be actively registered as a Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act of 1948.
• Desirable Skill: Basic working knowledge of MS Office is preferred.
• Reservation: Preference will be given to Ex-Servicemen, with 70% of the Pharmacist vacancy in Surat reserved for ESM candidates.

Application & Selection Process

1. Application Format: Candidates must download the requisite application format from the official ECHS website (echs.gov.in).
2. Submission Instructions:
   • Fill out the application form completely and attach self-attested photocopies of all educational testimonials, Pharmacy registration, work experience certificates, and (for ESM) discharge book, PPO, and service records.
   • Submit the completed application file either by hand or via email to the OIC, ECHS Cell, Station HQ, Vadodara.
   • The strict deadline for receiving applications is 05 October 2026.
3. Interview Details:
   • Shortlisted candidates meeting the Qualitative Requirements will be informed about the interview date, time, and venue directly via Telephone or Email.
   • Mandatory Documents for Interview: Candidates must carry all original certificates (10th, 10+2, Graduation/Diploma), work experience proofs, ESM records (if applicable), and 04 recent passport-size color photographs.
   • No Travel Allowance (TA) or Daily Allowance (DA) will be provided for attending the interview.
