Core Responsibilities
- Study Start-Up & DTS Setup: Review Statements of Work (SOW), set up study documentation protocols, initiate client data discussions, and author, build, test, and finalize Data Transfer Specifications (DTS).
- Data Transmission & Formats: Build custom data transfer formats adhering to client specifications and regulatory standards, quality check (QC) test data files, and schedule regular automated file deliveries.
- Ongoing Study Maintenance & Query Resolution: Manage file transmission frequencies, troubleshoot transfer errors, address sponsor queries, implement study amendments, and support end-to-end database lock activities.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Act as a central data liaison connecting Data Management with Specimen Management, Project Management, and Medical Affairs.
- Audit & Bid Defense Support: Participate in sponsor audits, regulatory inspections, and client bid defense meetings, maintaining full auditable documentation trails.
Candidate Profile & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Science (B.Sc. or equivalent life sciences / computer-related discipline).
- Experience: 3+ years of relevant industry experience in laboratory data management or clinical programming, with client-facing responsibilities and at least 1 year in customer service.
- Key Skills:
- Strong technical understanding of database architecture, transfer protocols, and clinical data management terminology.
- Proficiency across the standard Microsoft Office suite.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and consultative negotiation skills to work within global cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage shifting priorities and maintain compliance under high-demand project timelines.
