AIIMS Jodhpur Recruitment 2026: Project Technical Assistant Positions for Pharma and Life Sciences Professionals

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Jodhpur has announced an opening for temporary technical positions under the extramural research project titled “Economic Evaluation of Antimicrobial Stewardship (AMS) and Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) interventions in Indian Healthcare Facilities”. The project is spearheaded by Dr. Kuldeep Singh, Professor & Head, Department of Paediatrics at AIIMS, Jodhpur.

Position and Remuneration

Post Name: Project Technical Assistant
Number of Vacancies: 02 posts
Monthly Salary: Rs. 35,000/- (Consolidated)
Initial Duration: 6 months (purely temporary basis, co-terminus with the project)
Age Limit: 35 years (age concessions may apply for prior service rendered in other research projects on a case-by-case basis)

Eligibility Criteria and Qualifications

Essential Qualification: Master’s Degree in Life Sciences, Public Health, B.Pharmacy, BSc Nursing, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized University or Institution.
Desirable Experience:
- Prior experience in research projects, particularly within healthcare or hospital settings.
- Practical background in field data collection, hospital-based surveys, interviews, data entry, and record abstraction.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, specifically MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience handling healthcare costs, hospital utilization, or clinical and administrative data compilation.
- Familiarity or working knowledge related to Infection Prevention and Control (IPC), Antimicrobial Stewardship (AMS), Healthcare-Associated Infections (HCAI), or Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR).

Core Job Responsibilities

Selected candidates will handle data collection from designated ICUs and wards, compile IPC/AMS data, and extract information from hospital records or Electronic MIS systems. Responsibilities also include tracking data regarding human resources, consumables, equipment, utilities, financial records, procurement files, assisting in structured interviews, data entry, cleaning, documentation, and field verification visits.
