The BRIC-Institute of Bioresources and Sustainable Development (BRIC-IBSD), Imphal, has invited applications for a Senior Research Fellow (SRF) position under the Department of Biotechnology (Govt. of India) funded project titled “Living Loops: Engineering an Edible Algae – Mushroom Symbiosis for Self-Sustaining Space Ecosystems”. - Monthly Remuneration: Rs. 42,000/- plus 9% HRA per month
- Upper Age Limit: 35 years (relaxable for reserved categories as per Government of India norms)
- Duration: 2 years or co-terminus with the completion of the project
Essential & Desirable Qualifications
- Essential Qualifications:
- M.Tech in Biochemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Bioengineering, Bioprocess Engineering/Technology, or Industrial Microbiology; OR
- M.Sc. in Biotechnology, Microbiology, or Industrial Microbiology.
- Desirable Qualifications: Candidates having prior work experience in algae/fungi and bioprocess engineering are preferred.
