2. Eligibility & Education
The institute seeks candidates with backgrounds in diverse scientific and social disciplines.
For Pharmacy & Sciences
- Essential: Graduate or Postgraduate degrees in Clinical Pharmacy, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Zoology, Chemistry, or Biotechnology.
- Scientist Roles: Typically require a Postgraduate degree plus 3–5 years of experience or a PhD.
- Technical Support: Requires a Graduate degree with 3 years of experience or a Postgraduate degree.
For Public Health & Social Sciences
- Degrees in Public Health, Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Social Work, or Sociology are highly valued for implementation research projects.
3. Notable Research Projects
Selected candidates will contribute to pioneering studies, including:
- Nomophobia Study: Interventional research on mobile phone addiction among young adults in Rajasthan, Haryana, and Himachal Pradesh.
- Adolescent Healthcare: Optimizing services through Health and Wellness Centres in Sikar.
- Dengue Characterization: Pan-India antigenic characterization to provide early warning signals for potential pandemics.
- Silicosis Rehabilitation: Community-based pulmonary rehab for adults in sandstone mining areas.
4. Walk-in Interview Details
Interviews will be held at ICMR-NIIRNCD, Jodhpur. Reporting time is 09:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
- January 14, 2026: Adolescent Healthcare, Nomophobia, and POCT Screening projects.
- January 15, 2026: Silicosis, Heavy Metal Exposure, and Chronic Respiratory Illness projects.
- January 16, 2026: Oral Cancer Screening and Dengue Virus projects.
5. Important Terms & Conditions
- Age Limit: Generally up to 35 years for Technical Support and Scientist I/II, and up to 45 years for Scientist III. Age relaxation applies as per Govt. of India rules.
- Documentation: Candidates must bring filled application forms, one set of photocopies, and all original certificates (SSC onwards, Experience, Caste/EWS certificates, Aadhaar) for verification.
- Selection Process: If more than 30 candidates apply for a post, a written test will be conducted prior to the interview.
- Tenure: These are purely temporary project positions, initially for up to one year or until the project’s end date.
