Pharm'Up 
The Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS), under the Ministry of Defence, has released an official notification for the recruitment of Pharmacists at ECHS Polyclinics, Roorkee. These positions are being filled on a contractual basis for the Financial Year 2026-27.
The ECHS system, managed by the Army HQ, provides comprehensive healthcare to Ex-Servicemen (ESM) and their dependents through a network of 426 polyclinics across India.
Position Details & Eligibility
The recruitment is open to both Ex-Servicemen and civilian candidates who meet the following criteria:
- Post Name: Pharmacist
- Number of Vacancies: 03
- Monthly Remuneration: ₹36,500/-
- Effective Date of Vacancy: April 01, 2026.

| Education | B.Pharmacy from a recognized institute OR a Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). |
| Registration | Must be registered as a Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act 1948. |
| Experience | Minimum 3 years of professional experience. |
| Compulsory Skill | Basic Computer Knowledge is mandatory for all applicants. |
| Preference | Preference will be given to Ex-Servicemen (ESM) candidates. |
Application Process
Candidates must submit their applications in duplicate (two copies) using the prescribed hard-copy format. Applications sent via email will not be accepted.
- Documentation: Attach self-attested photocopies of:
- Educational Qualification certificates.
- Work Experience certificates.
- Medical Fitness Certificate.
- Submission Address: Submit by hand or post to:OIC, Stn HQs (ECHS Cell), Roorkee, Uttarakhand.
- Deadline: The last date for receipt of applications is January 31, 2026.
Selection Procedure: Interview & Computer Test
Shortlisted candidates who meet the Qualitative Requirements (QRs) will be notified via telephone or email regarding the specific interview schedule.
- Interview Timeline: Expected in February 2026.
- Evaluation: Selection will involve a Computer Eligibility Test followed by a personal interview.
- Verification: Candidates must carry all original documents (Education, Experience, and Medical Fitness) for verification at the time of the interview.
- Note: No TA/DA will be paid for attending the selection process.
