ICT Mumbai Recruitment 2026: Project Fellow Opportunity in Injectable Formulation Research

The Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT), Mumbai, has announced a walk-in interview for the position of Project Fellow in its Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Technology. This role is part of a specialized research project titled “SiDMi”, which focuses on developing an innovative, single-dose anti-malarial injection therapy using an artemether-lumefantrine combination.

The project is a collaborative effort between Prof. (Dr.) Mariam Degani and Maharukh Rushtomjee (Amaterasu Life Sciences LLP), supported by SIBRI. It aims to address critical needs in malaria treatment through bioenhanced and controlled-release drug delivery systems.

Position Summary

Post Name: Project Fellow
Monthly Fellowship: ₹30,000 (Consolidated)
Tenure: Initially for 1 year, extendable based on performance and project duration.
Project Focus: Preclinical pharmacokinetics, stability studies, and pilot scale-up of injectable formulations.

Eligibility & Desired Skills

Requirement	Details
Essential Education	M.Pharm / M.Tech in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Technology.
Mandatory Experience	Minimum 6 months of research experience specifically in injectable formulations.
Desirable Background	1–3 years of industrial or academic research in injectables or general formulation development.
