The National Agri-Food and Biomanufacturing Institute (BRIC-NABI), an autonomous institute under the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), is hiring for its prestigious integrated pilot plant project: “Agri-Food Bio-Mug.” This facility features a 1000-liter processing capacity and a state-of-the-art DCS/SCADA automated system designed to convert agricultural and industrial waste into high-value biochemicals, proteins, and enzymes.

Eligibility & Responsibilities
Technical Officers (Plant)
- Education: Master’s in Engineering/Technology (1-2 years exp) OR Bachelor’s (3-5 years exp).
- Focus: Bioprocessing, Biochemical Engineering, or Biotechnology.
- Role: Managing pilot plant operations, including fermentation and downstream processing (centrifugation, filtration, drying).
Technical Officer (ICT)
- Education: Master’s in IT/Computer Science/MCA (1 year exp) OR Bachelor’s (3 years exp).
- Role: Lead networking, database development, and maintenance of the automated SCADA systems.
Project Manager (Communications)
- Education: Master’s in Mass Comm/Journalism OR Bachelor’s with 4 years exp.
- Role: Public relations, industry outreach, product commercialization, and increasing the visibility of the biofoundry.

Important Conditions
