o2h Group Recruitment 2026: Hiring Research Associate & Senior Principal Scientist

The o2h group, a multidisciplinary organization based in Ahmedabad, is expanding its o2h discovery vertical. They are looking for motivated organic chemistry professionals to join their collaborative research environment. The group focuses on co-investing and co-executing innovative ideas across science and green technology.

Position 1: Research Associate

Functional Area: Organic Synthesis / Discovery Chemistry

Experience: 1–2 years in the CRO (Contract Research Organization) industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Synthetic Execution: Perform chemical reactions independently at scales ranging from milligrams to grams.
Instrumentation: Operate and interpret data from analytical tools such as NMR (Nuclear Magnetic Resonance), Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS), and HPLC.
Purification: Expert handling of purification techniques including CombiFlash, column chromatography, and deciding optimal mobile phases.
Laboratory Management: Handling glassware assembly, reagent charging, and maintaining inert conditions (Nitrogen atmosphere, temperature control).
Documentation: Meticulous recording of experimental procedures and data management to ensure reproducibility.

Position 2: Senior Principal Scientist

Functional Area: Technical Leadership & Project Management

Experience: Minimum 15 years in synthetic chemistry (CRO/Pharma).

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership: Provide authoritative guidance on complex synthesis, innovative route design, and troubleshooting difficult chemical transformations.
Team Mentorship: Lead and develop a team of scientists, fostering a culture of continuous training and safety.
Client Interface: Act as the primary point of contact for international clients, providing updates on FTE (Full-Time Equivalent) and FFS (Fee-For-Service) projects.
Operations: Manage project budgets, resource allocation, and supply chain coordination.
Business Development: Support Request for Information (RFIs) and contribute to organizational growth and recruitment.
