- Awaiting Result/Pursuing Degree: Candidates awaiting results or pursuing degrees (e.g., M.Sc./B.Tech./PhD) as of the application date are not eligible.
- Eligibility Criterion: Failure to meet eligibility criteria will result in candidature cancellation at any stage.
- Experience: Experience is reckoned from the date of obtaining the minimum required educational qualifications.
- Screening of Applications: Applicants will be shortlisted by CCMB scientists/designated committee based on current needs, with shortlisted candidates listed on the CCMB website.
- Selection Procedure: Shortlisted candidates must attend an in-person/online interview with the Selection Committee, with details communicated via email.
- Result/Waitlisted Panel: Interview performance will determine selected candidates, with results posted on the CCMB website. A merit-based waitlist, valid for one year, may be used for future needs.
- Engagement: Initially short-term, extendable or terminable based on performance and funding, but not exceeding the project tenure (max 5 years across CSIR projects). No claim for permanent employment.
- Leave: No regular leave entitlement; one day per completed month permitted.
- TA/DA: Not provided for tests/interviews or joining.
- Office Timings: Duties to be performed from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM on working days, with potential work on weekends/holidays if needed.
- Tax Deduction: Applicable taxes will be deducted at source.
- Confidentiality: IPR of data/deliverables remains with CCMB; no disclosure without written consent.
- Termination: Engagement may be terminated with one-month notice by either party, subject to performance reviews.
