The Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) is looking for qualified and motivated individuals for the position of Scientist C (Medical/Non-Medical/Research Officer) at the Prasanna School of Public Health (PSPH). This role is part of the prestigious Regional Resource Centre for Health Technology Assessment in India (HTAIn), an initiative supported by the Department of Health Research, Government of India.
Position Details
- Post: Scientist C (Medical/Non-Medical/Research Officer)
- Age Limit: 40 years
- Salary: ₹67,000 + HRA
Essential Qualifications
- Medical Stream:
- MBBS, BVSc, or BDS with three years of post-qualification experience.
- OR a Post Graduate Degree (MD/MVSc/MDS/MPH) in addition to an MBBS/BVSc/BDS.
- OR an MBBS/BVSc/BDS with a PhD.
- Non-Medical Stream:
- A Post Graduate Degree (including integrated PG degrees) in relevant subjects such as Public Health, Health Economics, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, or Data Science, with three years of post-qualification experience.
- OR a PhD in a relevant subject.
Desired Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Health Technology Assessment, economic evaluations, evidence synthesis, and the use of modeling tools like TreeAge, R, or Excel.
