Mira Bhayandar Municipal Corporation (MBMC) has published an official advertisement for the direct recruitment of Pharmacists/Pharmacist Officers. This recruitment drive aims to fill five vacant positions in the Group-C cadre. The selected candidates will be offered a competitive salary package under the 7th Pay Commission, with a pay scale of S10, ranging from ₹29,200 to ₹92,300 per month.

Detailed Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for the position of Pharmacist, applicants must meet the following mandatory requirements as of the last date of application submission:

Educational Qualifications:
- Must have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (HSC) in the science stream from the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education.
- A B.Pharm degree from a statutory university is essential.
- Candidates must possess a valid registration certificate from the Maharashtra Pharmacy Council, as per the Maharashtra Pharmacy Act, 1948.
Experience: A minimum of two years of experience in a relevant subject is required.
Language Proficiency: A working knowledge of the Marathi language is mandatory, including the ability to read, write, and speak it fluently.
Computer Literacy: Candidates are required to have an additional qualification certificate demonstrating knowledge of computer handling and use, such as MS-CIT or an equivalent qualification.
Citizenship and Domicile: Applicants must be citizens of India. Additionally, they must provide a certificate from a competent authority (Tehsildar’s office) proving 15 years of domicile in Maharashtra, or a birth certificate in the case of birth in Maharashtra.
