2. Eligibility & Skills
Educational Background:
Candidates must hold one of the following degrees:
- M.Pharm / PharmD (Pharmacy Practice preferred)
- MLT / M.Sc / M.Tech (Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or Laboratory Technology)
Technical Expertise Required:
- Clinical Research: Minimum 2 years experience, ideally in TB or adverse drug reaction (ADR) monitoring.
- Laboratory Skills: Blood sample collection, genomic DNA extraction, and SNP analysis using Real-Time PCR.
- Academic Writing: Experience in systematic reviews and a track record of peer-reviewed publications.
3. Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will work within a multidisciplinary team and be responsible for:
- Clinical Oversight: Patient recruitment, monitoring for drug-induced liver injury, and patient follow-up.
- Sample Management: Collecting, preprocessing, and storing biological samples.
- Genetic Analysis: Performing pharmacogenomic Single-Nucleotide Polymorphism (SNP) analysis.
- Scientific Output: Data analysis, manuscript preparation, and publishing research findings.
