This position is part of an ICMR-funded project focused on innovative periodontal tissue regeneration.
Position Overview
- Post Name: Project Research Scientist I (Non-Medical)
- Project Title: “Validation and in vivo studies of polymer based hybrid biomimetic membrane with osteogenic potential for periodontal guided tissue regeneration” (P.8277)
- Monthly Emoluments: ₹56,000 + 20% HRA
- Initial Duration: Up to 29 October 2026 (Likely extendable to 2028).
Eligibility & Key Requirements

| Essential Qualification | Post Graduate Degree in Biochemistry or Chemistry (any branch). |
| Desirable | Ph.D. or 3 years of experience in polymeric membranes for periodontal apps. |
| Technical Skills | Isolation/culturing of hPDL cells, Electrospinning, and high-impact publications. |
| Age Limit | Maximum 35 years (as of 01.01.2026). |
| Vacancy | 1 Post (OBC). Note: UR candidates will be considered if no eligible OBC candidate is found. |

Job Responsibilities
