Dr. Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya, a prestigious Central University in Sagar (M.P.), is inviting applications for specialized research roles in its Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences. This ICMR-sponsored project focuses on innovative peptide-drug conjugates to improve the treatment of breast cancer.
Project Focus: Peptide-Drug Conjugates (PDCs)
The project, titled “Synthesis of Endoxifen conjugate with Di-, Tri-, and Tetrapeptides for Enhanced Efficacy in Breast Cancer Therapy,” explores the frontier of targeted drug delivery.
By attaching Endoxifen (a potent metabolite of Tamoxifen) to specific peptide chains, the research aims to increase the drug’s solubility and its ability to target cancer cells precisely, thereby reducing side effects and enhancing therapeutic outcomes.
