The Biotechnology Research and Innovation Council – Institute of Life Sciences (BRIC-ILS), Bhubaneswar, has officially opened applications for its prestigious PhD program. Eligibility Criteria

Academic: * Track-I: Master’s or 4-year Bachelor’s degree in any Science/Tech branch with at least 55% marks.
- Track-II: MBBS, B.Tech/B.E. (Non-Bio), or B.Pharm with at least 55% marks.
National Fellowship: * Candidates must hold a valid 5-year fellowship (CSIR/UGC-JRF, DBT-JRF, ICMR-JRF, DST-INSPIRE, etc.).
- Track-II candidates must have qualified GATE or GPAT for potential institutional funding.
Age Limit: Below 28 years as of 10th May 2026 (Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST/PWD/Female; 3 years for OBC-NCL).

Selection Procedure (3-Tier)

Screening: Shortlisting based on academic merit and fellowship validity.
Round 1 (Online): Preliminary technical interview (19th & 20th May).
Final Round (Offline): In-person interview and PI interaction at BRIC-ILS (16th–18th June).
