SGPGIMS Lucknow Hiring: Senior Research Position for Breakthrough TBI Diagnostic Project

The Department of Neurosurgery at Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS) is seeking a highly qualified Project Research Scientist-III (Non-Medical). This role is part of a prestigious ICMR-funded “Point-of-Care” initiative—the RAPID-TBI study—which focuses on creating instrument-free assay strips to detect Traumatic Brain Injury using paired biomarkers.

Position & Compensation

Post: Project Research Scientist-III (Non-Medical)
Monthly Salary: Rs. 93,600/- (Consolidated Rs. 78,000 + 20% HRA)
Project Duration: Three years (Initial appointment for one year, renewable annually)

Eligibility Requirements

For Science Streams: Post Graduate degree with 5 years of post-qualification experience OR a PhD with 2 years of experience.
For Engineering/IT/CS: 4-year Graduate degree with 5 years of experience OR a PG degree with 3 years of experience OR a PhD.
Preferred Skills: Experience in clinical settings, immunological assays, animal handling, molecular biology, and bioinformatics.
