Panjab University Announces KNG Pharma Research Fellowship 2026 for Ph.D. Scholars

The University Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (UIPS) at Panjab University, Chandigarh, has invited applications for two Ph.D. Research Fellows under the Kidar Nath Gaind Pharma Research Fellowship (KNGPRF) scheme.

Fellowship Openings & Specializations

Pharmaceutical Chemistry: 01 Post (under the supervision of Prof. Ranju Bansal)
Pharmacology: 01 Post (under the supervision of Prof. Kanwaljit Chopra)

Eligibility Criteria & Stipend

Educational Qualifications:
- B.Pharm and M.Pharm with at least 55% aggregate marks (50% for SC/ST/PH candidates).
- M.Pharm degree must be in the relevant specialization.
- Mandatory qualification in GATE / GPAT / Ph.D. Entrance Test or any equivalent national exam conducted by a Central Government department.
Desirable Profile: Prior work experience and a proven research publication track record will be given preference.
Stipend: Rs. 11,000 per month (tenure of 2 years only).

Evaluation Criteria: Shortlisted candidates will be assessed based on B.Pharm/M.Pharm marks, GATE/GPAT scores, publications, presentations, patents, and other research accomplishments.
