CSIR-Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (CIMAP) has announced a walk-in interview for four temporary positions of Project Associate-I (PAT-I) under the CSIR-Aroma Mission 4.0 (MMP025304) at its Hyderabad Research Centre.

Eligibility Criteria
- Essential Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree (M.Sc.) in Chemical Sciences (Organic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Food Technology) OR Biological Sciences / Agriculture / Horticulture (Genetics, Plant Breeding, Biotechnology) OR
- M.Pharm (Pharmacognosy, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Analysis) OR
- B.E. / B.Tech (Chemical Engineering, Chemical Technology) from a recognized university.
- Desirable Experience:
- For Chemistry / Pharmacy / Chemical Engineering: Practical experience in herbal extractions, process development, value addition, and quality analysis of medicinal and aromatic plants.
- For Agriculture / Biological Sciences: Practical knowledge in crop breeding, cultivation, quality planting material generation, and field-level operations.
Monthly Stipend Structure
- ₹31,000/- + HRA: Candidates with valid CSIR-UGC / ICAR / ICMR NET (including Lectureship/Assistant Professorship), GATE, or national-level tests conducted by Central Government bodies (DST, DBT, etc.).
- ₹25,000/- + HRA: Candidates meeting the educational qualifications without the above national exam qualifications.
Interview Instructions
Candidates must bring:
- Duly filled and signed application form downloaded from the CIMAP official website.
- Original mark sheets, degrees/provisional certificates, and experience certificates along with one set of self-attested photocopies.
- Recent passport-size photograph.
- A custodian certificate from the college/university if degree certificates are awaited post-completion (result-awaited candidates are not eligible).
