
Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi is inviting online applications from eligible candidates for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under an ANRF-sponsored Advanced Research Grant (ARG) program. The research focuses on cutting-edge biosensors and bioelectronic diagnostics.

- Upper Age Limit: 28 years (Age relaxations applicable for SC/ST/PwD/Female candidates as per Government of India guidelines)
Monthly Fellowship Structure
- Years 1 & 2 (JRF): Rs. 37,000/- per month + 20% HRA
- Year 3 (Upgradation to SRF): Rs. 42,000/- per month + 20% HRA (as per ANRF norms; TDS applicable per institute regulations)
Eligibility Criteria
- Essential Qualifications:
- Master’s degree (M.Tech / M.E. / M.Sc. or equivalent) in Chemistry, Biotechnology, Bioengineering, Biochemical/Biomedical Engineering, Materials Science, Bioelectronics, Nanotechnology, or related allied disciplines.
- Minimum aggregate of 60% marks or 6.5/10 CGPA.
- Must have a valid qualification in a National Level Exam such as GATE, CSIR-UGC NET, DBT, ICMR, or DST examinations.
- Desirable Experience:
- Hands-on background in biosensors, nanotechnology, electroanalytical chemistry, or lab-on-chip devices.
- Strong scientific writing, data interpretation skills, and proficiency in research analysis tools.
