The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Rourkela, a premier technical institution in India, is hiring a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for a project titled “Development of Biohybrid Scaffold for Cardiac Tissue Engineering.” The project is funded by CSIR and has a tenure of 2 years and 5 months.

- Salary:
- Year 1 & 2: ₹37,000 per month + HRA (if applicable)
- Year 3: ₹42,000 per month + HRA (if applicable)
- Upper Age Limit: 28 years. Age relaxation of up to 5 years is available for SC, ST, PWD, and female candidates, and 3 years for OBC candidates.
Essential Qualifications:
Candidates must have one of the following qualifications with at least 55% marks and a passing score in the NET/GATE test:
- B.S. (4-year program)
- B.Pharm
- Integrated BS-MS
- MSc
- MBBS
- BE/B.Tech or an equivalent degree
Desirable Qualifications:
- M.Pharm, ME, or M.Tech in Biomedical Engineering/Biotechnology or an equivalent degree from a recognized technical institute or university, with at least 65% marks and NET/GATE qualification.
