Pharm'Up 
The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Bhubaneswar, has announced a recruitment drive for a total of 25 Pharmacist positions to be filled on a deputation basis. This opportunity is open to eligible officers currently working in Central, State, or U.T. Governments, as well as various autonomous and statutory bodies.
The openings are for three different roles, with a specific number of vacancies for each:
- Chief Pharmacist: 11 posts, Pay Level 7
- Sr. Pharmacist: 3 posts, Pay Level 6
- Pharmacist Grade I: 11 posts, Pay Level 6
Eligibility and Application Requirements
To be considered for these roles, candidates must meet specific eligibility criteria based on their current employment status and experience. The primary requirement is that applicants are officers who are either holding an analogous (similar) post on a regular basis or have a specified number of years of regular service in a relevant grade.
The application process requires candidates to submit a hard copy of the prescribed pro-forma. All applications must be sent through the proper channel, meaning they must be forwarded by the applicant’s Cadre Controlling Authority. This forwarding must include essential documents such as:
- The completed application form (Annexure T).
- APARs (Annual Performance Appraisal Reports) for the preceding five years.
- Vigilance Clearance and Integrity Certificates.
- A list of any major or minor penalties imposed in the last ten years, if applicable.
Applications must reach AIIMS Bhubaneswar within 45 days of the advertisement’s publication in the Employment News. The envelope containing the application should be clearly superscribed with the post being applied for.
