ECHS Recruitment 2026: Pharmacist Openings in Punjab

The Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS), under the Ministry of Defence, has announced a recruitment drive for the post of Pharmacist on a contractual basis. These positions are for the Type B Polyclinic at Unchi Bassi and Type D Polyclinic at Talwara, Punjab.

Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification: * B.Pharmacy from a recognized institute OR
  • 10+2 (Science Stream) with an approved Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) from an institute recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI).
• Registration: Must be registered as a Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act 1948.
• Experience: Minimum 03 years of work experience in the field.

Application Process

1. Format: Download the official application format from the ECHS website.
2. Documents: Attach self-attested copies of educational certificates, registration, and experience letters.
3. Submission: Submit the application in duplicate (two sets) to:OIC, Stn HQs (ECHS Cell) Unchi Bassi
4. Mode: Submit via POST or In-Person.
   • Note: Email applications will be rejected.
5. Deadline: 04th February 2026.

Interview Schedule

• Date: 10th February 2026
• Time: 10:00 AM to 04:00 PM (Report by 10:00 AM)
• Venue: Stn HQ Unchi Bassi.
• Requirements: Bring all original documents, 10th/12th/Degree mark sheets, Discharge Book/PPO (for ESM), Service Records, and 02 Passport-size photographs.

Mandatory Document Checklist

Ensure the following are enclosed (self-attested) to avoid rejection:

• Matriculation & 10+2 Certificates.
• Degree/Diploma Certificates.
• Registration Certificate (Pharmacy Council).
• Experience Certificates.
• For ESM: Copy of PPO and Discharge Book.
• Latest Police Verification & Character Certificate.
• Aadhaar Card & PAN Card.
• Medical Fitness Certificate (Countersigned by SEMO/CMO).
