Eligibility & Experience

Essential Qualification: Ph.D. in any branch of Life Sciences from a recognized university.
Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of post-qualification experience in the relevant research field.

Job Description & Key Skills

Selected scientists will play a vital role in the BRIC-Bio Foundry project. Key responsibilities include:

Microbial Characterization: Identifying and characterizing microbial isolates with potential therapeutic applications.
Fermentation & Scaling: Optimizing biomass production at both small and medium scales.
Stability Studies: Characterizing microbial products for bioactivity, stability, and long-term viability.
Storage Protocols: Establishing optimal storage conditions (e.g., lyophilization or cryopreservation) to ensure functionality.
Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience in microbiological techniques, fermentation processes, and biochemical analyses is required.

General Terms & Conditions

Nature of Position: These are short-term, contractual positions. Extensions depend on performance and project duration.
Age Relaxation: * SC/ST: 5 years | OBC: 3 years | PwBD: 10–15 years.
