JSS AHER Recruitment 2026: Field Investigator Role for Pharma & Allied Health Graduates

JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research (JSS AHER), Mysuru, is inviting applications for a Field Investigator position. This role is part of a high-impact implementation study funded by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), focusing on lifestyle approaches to combat non-communicable diseases (NCDs) in vulnerable communities across Karnataka.

Job Profile: Field Investigator

This position is ideal for candidates with a background in healthcare or social work who are passionate about community-based research and public health implementation.

Project Title: Integrated Five-Pronged Lifestyle Approach for Preventing and Controlling Non-Communicable Diseases in Vulnerable Communities of Karnataka.
Principal Investigator: Dr. Anil S. Bilimale (School of Public Health).
Salary: ₹20,000 per month.
Duration: 20 months.

Eligibility & Essential Skills

The project seeks candidates with a diverse range of medical and scientific backgrounds:

Educational Background: * Pharma/Science: M.Sc. in Clinical Research, Medical Pharmacology, Medical Biochemistry, or Medical Microbiology.
- Allied Health: M.Sc. in Medical Anatomy, Physiology, Genetics, Respiratory Therapy, or Echo-Cardiography.
- Public Health & Nursing: MPH, MPT, BPH, GNM, or B.Sc. Nursing.
- Social Sciences: MSW or BSW.
Core Competencies: * Excellent communication and persuasion skills.
- Basic understanding of medical and health terminologies.
- Willingness to conduct house-to-house surveys is mandatory.
