Eligibility Criteria
1. Educational Qualification
- Degree: B.Pharma or M.Pharma from a recognized University.
2. Professional Experience
- Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience in Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance (QA).
- Experience must involve testing and quality checks for drugs or medical devices.
- Work history must be from a Central/State Govt, PSU, Autonomous Body, or an MNC.
3. Essential Skills
- Regulatory Knowledge: Proficiency in GeM (Government e-Marketplace) and GFR (General Financial Rules).
- IT Proficiency: Computer literate with expertise in MS Office and IT-enabled QA modules.
- Communication: Strong oral and written English skills.
Key Job Responsibilities
The Manager (QA) acts as the gatekeeper for medical supplies entering the public health system.
- Procurement Cycle QA: Implementing quality systems from sourcing to final distribution.
- Inspection & Testing: Conducting rigorous checks on contracted goods to ensure they meet specifications.
- Vendor Management: Assessing, rating, and registering suppliers; maintaining a verified directory.
- GMP Compliance: Creating unified standards to inspect manufacturers for Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- External Oversight: Empanelling and managing external inspection agencies.
