Walk-In Interview: Research Opportunities at RARI Pune (CCRAS) – ABIHR Project

The Regional Ayurveda Research Institute (RARI), Pune, under the Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS), Ministry of Ayush, is conducting a walk-in recruitment drive. The positions are part of the ABIHR Project, focusing on the preclinical toxicological evaluation and safety pharmacology of key Ayurvedic formulations: Laksha Guggulu, Dadimadi Ghrita, and Ekangaveera Rasa.

Vacant Positions & Eligibility

The recruitment process involves a written test followed by an interview for qualified candidates on the same day.

Specific Research Focus & Preferences

The project aims to validate the safety of Ayurvedic medicines through modern scientific protocols.

• For Scientist I: Preference is given to candidates experienced in systemic toxicity, genotoxicity, and reproduction toxicity studies.
• For Technical Support III: Preference is given to those with experience in histopathology techniques, biochemistry analysis, and cell culture work.

Interested candidates must report to the venue at 10:00 AM on the respective dates.

• Project Research Scientist I: 28 January 2026
• Project Technical Support II & III: 29 January 2026

Important Instructions for Applicants

1. Documentation: Bring all original certificates (educational, experience, age proof), one set of photocopies, and two passport-size photographs.
2. Age Calculation: The cutoff date for age determination is 01/01/2026. (SC/ST/OBC relaxations apply per Govt. rules).
3. Tenure: The engagement is purely contractual, initially for 6 months, extendable up to 3 years based on performance.
4. No TA/DA: No travel or daily allowance will be provided for attending the test/interview.
