Position & Profile Overview

- Educational Qualifications: M.Sc. (Life Sciences) / B.Pharm / B.Tech / B.Sc. / Diploma / ITI
Department-Wise Role Requirements
1. Production – Formulations (Injectables / Vaccines)
- Blending: Handling shift plans for formulation activities; operating and maintaining autoclave, blending vessels, and CIP/SIP skids.
- Filling: Managing shift plans for sterile filling operations; operating vial washing systems, tunnel sterilizers, filling lines, and capping machines.
- Packing: Managing packing shift plans; operating vial labelling and VVM dot machines with automated inspection systems; running Videojet and Control Print printers for batch coding; tracking and trace system operation; monitoring cold-room and deep-freezer temperatures.
2. Engineering – Biologics / Injectables
- Process Equipment: Breakdown and preventive maintenance (PM) of vial washing, filling, capping, autoclave, labelling machines, jacketed vessels, and lyophilizers.
- Instrumentation Maintenance: Handling shift operations for Building Management Systems (BMS); routine calibration, PM, and AMC handling; basic troubleshooting of PLC and SCADA architectures.
3. Quality Assurance (QA)
- IPQA (Drug Substance): In-process quality assurance for bacterial, cell, and virus culture processes; handling line clearance; preparing and reviewing SOPs, BPRs, MFRs, and protocols; managing deviations and change controls.
- QA (Validation): Qualification and validation of process equipment, HVAC, utilities, and packaging machinery; preparing and reviewing URS, DQ, FAT, SAT, IQ, OQ, PQ protocols, and computerized system validation (CSV) documents.
4. Quality Control (QC – Microbiology)
- Enumeration and counting of microbial colonies from Environmental Monitoring (EMP), water, and process media plates.
- Expertise in bioburden, water testing, and Microbial Limit Tests (MLT).
- Media preparation, Growth Promotion Testing (GPT), microbial culture handling, and cGMP compliance.
