
The Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) Integrated Health and Family Welfare Society has released an official recruitment drive to fill nine contractual positions under the National Health Mission (NHM). The openings are for the roles of Pharmacist and Public Health Manager. These positions offer consolidated salaries and are temporary in nature, with employment concluding upon the completion of the respective projects.

Pharmacist (5 Openings) 💊

- Monthly Salary: ₹17,000
- Educational Qualifications: D.Pharm, B.Pharm, or M.Pharm
- Mandatory Requirement: Candidates must be registered with the Pharmacy Council.
- Age Limit: 38 years for the open category and 43 years for the reserved category.
Public Health Manager (PHM) (4 Openings) 🩺

- Monthly Salary: ₹32,000
- Educational Qualifications:
- M.B.B.S.
- Graduate in Health Sciences (B.D.S., B.A.M.S., B.H.M.S., B.U.M.S., B.P.Th., or Nursing) with a Master of Public Health (MPH), Master of Health Administration (MHA), or an MBA in Health Care Administration.
- Age Limit: 38 years for the open category and 43 years for the reserved category.
Application and Selection Process 📑
Application Submission
Interested candidates must submit their applications in person at the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation Building, Medical Department, Second Floor, Arrival-Departure Room. The application period is from September 4, 2025, to September 15, 2025, between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM (excluding holidays). Applications submitted after this time will not be considered.
Required Documents
Applicants must submit a completed application form (downloadable from www.pcmcindia.gov.in) along with self-attested copies of the following documents:
- Age proof
- Degree/Diploma certificate and final year mark sheet
- CGPA conversion certificate (if applicable)
- Indian/Maharashtra Council registration and renewal certificate
- Work experience certificates from government, semi-government, or private institutions
- Caste certificate (if applicable)
- A recent passport-sized photograph
Selection Procedure
The selection for the Pharmacist position will be based on a comprehensive marking system. Candidates will be evaluated out of a total of 50 marks across five categories:
- Subject Knowledge: 10 marks
- Research & Academic Knowledge: 10 marks
- Leadership Quality: 10 marks
- Administrative Abilities: 10 marks
- Experience: 10 marks (2 marks per year for government experience, 1 mark per year for private experience)
The same marking system will apply to other roles such as Staff Nurse and Laboratory Technician. For the Public Health Manager role, selection will be conducted through a direct interview, where candidates will be assessed on similar criteria.
