
The Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences (ILBS), a super-specialty hospital in New Delhi, is looking to fill the position of Junior Research Fellow / Project Assistant for a one-year, BVG-funded project.

- Project Title: “Molecular Characterization and evaluation of therapeutic efficacy of BVG Formulation BVGL21/8 and it impacts on gut microbiota in development of Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD): A Pre-clinical study”

- Remuneration: ₹31,000 + 27% HRA
- Age Limit: 35 years
Essential Qualifications:
Candidates must have a M.Pharm/M.S. Pharm, M.Tech (Bio-Technology), or M.Sc in Biomedical Sciences, Life Sciences, Physiology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related discipline. Additionally, a NET/GATE/GPAT qualification or any other national eligibility test is mandatory. Two years of research experience is also required.
Desirable Qualifications:
A postgraduate degree with a minimum of 60% marks is preferred. The ideal candidate will have experience in:
- Pre-clinical studies and cell-based assays
- Bioinformatics and proteomic analysis
- Mammalian cell culture
- Fluorescence microscopy

- Pre-clinical investigations, including handling small lab animals (mice and rats) for in-vivo toxicity and efficacy analysis.
- Handling biological samples and conducting molecular investigations.
- In-vitro cell culture, including primary hepatic cells and organoids.
- Pharmacodynamic and pharmacokinetic analysis of natural/herbal/ayurvedic compounds.
- Data compilation, bioinformatics, proteomic analysis, and writing project reports and manuscripts.
The appointment is on a temporary contract basis for 12 months. Candidates invited for the interview must bring self-attested copies of their documents and a recent resume. No travel allowance or daily allowance (TA/DA) will be provided for the interview.
