Pharm'Up 
Banaras Hindu University (BHU) is inviting applications for one temporary position of a Junior Research Assistant (JRA) for a project funded by the Council of Science & Technology, U.P. (CST-UP). The project, “Fabrication, characterization, and bioefficacy of essential oil infused chitosan nanocomposite to enhance shelf-life of banana,” is sanctioned for three years.
Position Details
- Post: Junior Research Assistant (JRA)
- Number of Posts: 1
- Fellowship: The consolidated fellowship is Rs. 25,000 per month for the first two years, increasing to Rs. 28,000 per month for the third year.
- Age Limit: The upper age limit is 28 years as of April 1, 2025.
- Eligibility: Only Indian citizens who are residents of Uttar Pradesh are eligible to apply.
Required Qualifications
- Essential: An M.Sc. in Botany, Life Science, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Agriculture, or any other relevant allied subject. Candidates must have a First Division in both their graduate and postgraduate examinations.
- Desirable: Experience in microbiology laboratory techniques is preferred.
