Essential Qualifications

Candidates must possess the following qualifications as of the closing date for application submission:

Educational Qualification: At least 2nd Class Master’s Degree in:
- Forensic Science OR
- Chemistry OR
- Bio Chemistry OR
- M.S. OR
- M.Pharma
- (From a recognized University).
Experience:Three years post M.Sc./M.S./M.Pharma experience in research training and analytical work in one of the above subjects.
- (Research work done for Ph.D. will be counted in the total experience).

Age Limit	18 to 45 years as on 01-01-2025.
Desirable	Knowledge of customs, manners, and dialects of Himachal Pradesh.

Scheme of Examination / Selection Procedure

Selection will be based on the following process:

Direct Personality Test: If the ratio of eligible candidates to posts is six or below, all candidates will be called directly for the Personality Test.
Screening Test + Personality Test (in all other cases):
- Paper-I (Screening Test – 1 Hour, 100 Marks): Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) with negative marking (0.25 penalty per wrong answer/blank question).
  - HP General Knowledge (30 Marks)
  - National and International Affairs General Knowledge (30 Marks)
  - Hindi Language (20 Marks)
  - English Language (20 Marks)
- Paper-II (Subject Aptitude Test – SAT – 3 Hours, 120 Marks): A descriptive test based on the subject syllabus.
- Evaluation: Based on the merit of Paper-I (minimum passing marks required), the answer sheets of Paper-II will be evaluated (20 times the number of vacancies).
- Personality Test: Candidates who qualify the written papers will be called for the final Personality Test.
